OverDrive: Enjoy Ten Days as an eBook from your library
Cityread London participants can now enjoy Ten Days as an eBook from their local library.
OverDrive has teamed up with Cityread London for the first time to make this year’s featured book, Ten Days by Gillian Slovo, available as an eBook from the library. This allows readers another option for participating in the citywide book club. You can now choose to read that book on your tablets, smart phones or computers.
Readers across London can borrow the Ten Days eBook for free from participating local libraries without wait lists or holds. At the end of the lending period, the title will automatically be removed from your device, so there’s no need to worry about late fees. Simply search for your library in the free OverDrive app and sign in with your library card. There you will find Ten Days available for checkout on the front page. You can choose to download the title and read it in the OverDrive app or you can read the title in your browser using the OverDrive Read option.
The Cityread London book club is designed to bring the entire community together by sharing a reading experience. You can now be a part of the citywide book club even if you can’t make it to the physical library. Simply download the OverDrive app and enjoy the Cityread London festival anytime and anywhere by accessing the eBook version of Ten Days on your device. You can find the title at the following library’s digital collections:
- London Libraries Consortium (Barking & Dagenham, Brent, Ealing, Enfield, Hackney, Havering, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest)
- Lewisham Library and Information Service
